As of October 15, 2025, we’ve begun renovations to create a brighter, more inclusive home for local artists, businesses, and our community to thrive.
A Home for Arts, Culture and Small Business
Empower your small business with access to free workshops and networking opportunities that have launched, developed, and expanded hundreds of small businesses.
Since 2013, the Anacostia Arts Center (AAC) has been a cornerstone of arts, culture, and entrepreneurship in historic Anacostia, supporting local creatives, small businesses, and community connection in Washington, DC.
Today, AAC is undergoing a transformative renovation that will create jobs, strengthen the local economy, preserve local arts and culture, and expand access to creative and entrepreneurial space. Acquired by WACIF in 2021, the Center is being modernized to ensure it remains a vibrant, inclusive community asset for generations to come.
Your support helps close the funding gap and complete the Final Mile, unlocking the full potential of the Anacostia Arts Center as a hub for opportunity, creativity, and community pride.
Join our donor wall starting at just $500, or have your name featured in other spaces throughout the building!
