Art Romp Anacostia-Photos
Photographers, painters, and sculptors (and performers and live music and etc…) oh my! Friday night the Anacostia Arts Center became the site of “Art Romp Anacostia.” The clean white walls of the space were filled with the colorful and eclectic works of more than 50 local artists spanning the DMV, courtesy of curator Molly Ruppert. Art Romp’s opening night lived up to the exhibition’s legacy of lively and stimulating artwork and performances, which, in combination with live music and a few artist sightings (not to mention the cash bar) was a great way to mix and mingle with best of the DC art scene.
